Sean is a partner of the firm and focuses his practice on complex high net-worth matrimonial cases. He also has participated in the representation of individuals in commercial litigation, international corporate disputes and general civil litigation.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Sean has been involved in some the largest financial matrimonial cases in New York, including cases involving the valuation and distribution of investment management businesses, real estate development businesses, commercial and high-end residential real estate, art dealer businesses, contemporary and modern artworks, and tax assets and liabilities; as well as multi-jurisdictional and international custody disputes. Sean has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation from the pleadings stage to discovery to trials. He has also negotiated, drafted and finalized separation and settlement agreements, as well as pre-nuptial agreements.
Sean is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2011), where he served as an Executive Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. While in law school, Sean also externed with Justice Virginia Long of the New Jersey Supreme Court, the highest appellate court in New Jersey. Sean completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami (B.A., Economics, 2008).
Sean is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Sean was named a New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of Family Law each year between 2018-21.
